Join our dynamic team as a Plant Health Care Specialist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of diverse landscapes. Duties
- Diagnose & Plan: Conduct comprehensive inspections of trees, shrubs, lawns, and landscape areas. Develop tailored plant care plans based on dendrology principles to support healthy, long-term growth cycles.
- Treat & Nourish: Apply fertilizers, targeted treatments, and soil amendments following safety protocols to promote vigorous plant growth while minimizing environmental impact.
- Maintain & Prune: Perform plant pruning, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance to enhance aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate bucket trucks for elevated pruning/treatment, utilize chainsaws for hazardous branch removal, and employ proper rigging techniques.
- Support the Team: Act as a reliable team player who assists in overarching landscape installation and lawn care activities when the business needs it.
Experience
- Proven growing experience in horticulture or landscaping environments with a strong understanding of plant care practices.
- Familiarity with tree care techniques including pruning, trimming, and disease management.
- Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other landscape machinery safely.
- Knowledge of GIS technology for mapping landscapes or managing large-scale planting projects is preferred.
- Background in dendrology or arboriculture with an emphasis on tree health assessment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of lawn care, landscape maintenance routines, and general landscaping principles.
- Prior experience working with plant diagnostics or pest management programs to maintain healthy landscapes.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
