The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Housing Department is seeking a full-time LIHTC Program Coordinator to support the administration and compliance of the Tribe’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit housing program. This role is responsible for assisting applicants and tenants, maintaining program records, supporting eligibility and recertification processes, coordinating maintenance requests, and ensuring program activities are completed in accordance with LIHTC, HUD, Tribal, and departmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process LIHTC applications, waitlist activity, move-ins, and recertifications.
- Maintain accurate tenant, applicant, and program records.
- Respond to tenant questions regarding rent, occupancy, maintenance, and housing concerns.
- Prepare program correspondence, notices, reports, and documentation.
- Support compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Tribal policies, and TERO requirements.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, applicants, vendors, staff, and community partners.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field required.
- 2–3 years of related experience in LIHTC, housing, property management, low-income assistance programs, or administrative compliance preferred.
- Knowledge of LIHTC/HUD requirements and rental certification processes preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and computer skills required.
- Ability to work respectfully and professionally within a Tribal community setting.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 (35 hours per week)
