Gillmann Services, Inc is now hiring Press Brake Operators in Gibsonton, Fl! This is a full time permanent position. Pay BOE $18-$24/hr + Benefits kick in right away! Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Short Term Disability.
The Trim Brake/ Press Brake Operator is responsible for forming and shaping metal trim components used in pre-engineered steel building systems. This role operates brake press equipment to bend, cut, and fabricate trim pieces to exact specifications.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate trim brake and press brake machinery to form metal trim components
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and bend metal accurately to required dimensions and angles
- Inspect finished trim pieces for quality and accuracy
- Stage and organize materials to support production flow
- Perform basic machine checks and assist with routine maintenance
- Work closely with production teams to meet daily output goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in manufacturing, sheet metal, or steel production environments
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow production specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop environment
- Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn
Preferred Experience:
- Experience operating brake press or trim brake equipment
- Background in metal roofing or building materials manufacturing
- Forklift experience or certification
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in a manufacturing setting
