Position: Senior Accountant
At CrowtherRoofing, the Senior Accountant is a key member of the team, reporting to the COO and executes a hands-on role in managing the accounting functions of the business including management of accounts payable, accounts receivables, billing, and the month-end close process.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform monthly close process working with the RCA corporate team
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Manage customer invoicing and collections
- Monitor accounts for payment issues and follow up as necessary
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure billing aligns with job costs
- Address and resolve any billing inquiries or disputes
- Analyze project costs and profitability
- Track and report job costs against budgets
- Support the implementation of control systems within the organization
- Prepare quarterly payroll taxes
- Assist with audits
- Assist with the development and evaluation of budgets Tracking
- Track, prepare, submit, and collect lien releases
- Compile all government forms required for submission with invoicing
- Manage / track purchase orders
- Other tasks as assigned
