We are a medical staffing company specialized in Radiology/Imaging professionals. We hire radiology technologists (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, PET-CT, Nuclear Medicine, etc.) and assign them to different medical facilities (outpatient clinics and hospitals) based on the interest of the imaging professional and the need of the company.
We are currently looking for a full time Radiology technologist to work 5 days/week, Mainly Night Shift with rotating weekends. Excellent salary ($50 to $60 per hour).
This assignment is in a hospital in Chicago area
Qualifications
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Illinois License (IEMA) and ARRT certifications
- Skilled in aseptic techniques and medical imaging
- Experience with X-Ray procedures
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology departmental protocols
- Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems
Responsibilities
- Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment calibration for optimal image quality.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and anatomy to assist in diagnostics.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide patient care.
- Keep detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information in compliance with hospital standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and techniques.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
