Cypress Cove Care Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys variety in their work and wants a stable career with a supportive team.

What You'll Do
- Perform routine building maintenance and repairs
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and minor HVAC repairs
- Maintain grounds, walkways, and outdoor areas
- Help ensure all safety and regulatory standards are met
- Set up rooms for meetings and special events as needed
- Assist with preventative maintenance projects
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests throughout the facility
- Work closely with department leaders to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or building repair experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in healthcare, long-term care, hotels, apartments, or commercial facilities is a plus
