Deliver exceptional member service — represent OKCU with professionalism and responsiveness, ensuring members receive timely, accurate, and solutions‑focused support while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Serve as the primary commercial lending contact — manage all member inquiries related to commercial credit needs, providing clear communication, informed guidance, and a seamless experience throughout the lending process.

Develop and expand commercial loan opportunities — identify, cultivate, and evaluate lending prospects across single‑ and multi‑family investment properties, small office, light commercial, and industrial segments to support portfolio growth.

Execute strategic calling efforts — partner with the commercial team to implement a structured call plan designed to achieve assigned loan production and deposit growth goals.

Maintain disciplined pipeline management — utilize the loan origination system daily to update member information, document conversations, track activities, and schedule next steps, ensuring a well‑organized and proactive workflow.

Participate in weekly opportunity reviews — meet with management to assess current opportunities, forecast future production, and align on strategy and execution.

Negotiate and structure credit solutions — analyze borrower needs, structure loans within OKCU’s risk appetite, and negotiate terms that support member success while meeting credit union goals.

Maintain regulatory and policy expertise — stay current on applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices to ensure compliant, sound, and well‑documented lending decisions.

Protect member confidentiality — safeguard all member information and transactions in accordance with OKCU standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure full compliance — adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and lending guidelines to maintain operational integrity and mitigate risk.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Two to Five years of experience in commercial or business loans and/or credit/business-related analysis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a credit union branch office. It is a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copiers. The noise level is typically moderate. Evening and weekend hours and some local travel may be required.
