Overview
Top Performance Basketball is a youth player development program that provides high-quality training focusing on the improvement of ball-handling, shooting, court IQ, mental toughness, and conditioning. We are hiring part-time head/assistant basketball coaches for players 2nd Grade through 12th Grade.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibilities include instructing/guiding players between the ages of 7 and 17 years old.
- Teach players fundamental skills of basketball under the Top Performance Basketball program philosophy.
- All coaches will work closely with the Program Director to develop players and implement coaching instruction.
- Coaches must communicate clearly and responsibly with players, parents, referees, and other staff members.
- Coaches are responsible for enriching the development of every player through positive coaching techniques and high-level understanding of basketball fundamentals.
- Must be able to attend between the hours of 6pm - 9pm Mon-Fri (2-3x per week) and be available for tournaments on the weekends (not all weekends).
QUALIFICATIONS - Basketball Coach ($20-29 per hour - depending on experience)
- Basketball Player - must have working knowledge of basketball as a player, and/or high school varsity experience preferred
- Youth Basketball Coach - 6 months experience
- Ability to work as part of a team of coaches but also be able to work independently
- Basketball Coach for a school or AAU basketball team - 2 seasons
- Youth Basketball Trainer - 6 months experience
- Must be a leader, energetic, and patient
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have access to reliable transportation

HOURLY RATE:
$20-29 per hour (DOE) with possible opportunities for advancement, maximum 15 hours per week
