American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 5+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Center and Stroke-Certified acute care hospital.

Acute care hospital setting with a 425-bed Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Certification designation
-
MRI department with 3 scanners: GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, and Siemens Espree 1.5T
-
Patient population includes outpatients, inpatients, critical care, ER, and pediatrics across all body parts
-
Charting system: Epic (experience required); SECTRA PACS and VRAD night service also in use
-
3x12-hour shifts: Friday 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, Sunday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

No floating — MRI department only

Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are accepted

Minimum 5 years of recent MRI experience

ARRT (MR) certification and active MR registration required

Current BLS certification required

Proficiency in Neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging required

Experience performing MRI studies on both adult and pediatric patients
-
Experience with GE Architect and SECTRA PACS system
-
Ability to work independently in outpatient, inpatient, critical care, and ER settings
-
2 current references required: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the same specialty within the last 3 years

License required if applicable

Perform MRI studies on all body parts across outpatient, inpatient, critical care, ER, and pediatric settings

Orientation consists of 3 day shifts followed by 2–3 night shifts as needed

Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date

All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility

Gray scrubs required
