Blackerby's Hangar 5 in Columbus is adding a couple new faces to our server team. Our hours are 7am-2pm every day, and new hire shifts are typically 8am-4pm. Our guests love that we have been located at the Columbus Municipal Airport for 45 years and they keep us consistently busy, which means our servers can count on reliable earning opportunities, even on weekdays.
Our ideal candidate brings a positive attitude and reliability. Being on time and ready for a great day is imperative to our success.
Other Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests in a timely manner
- Maintaining menu knowledge to be able to promptly and accurately answer guest questions
- Taking and entering orders accurately
- ensuring guests have a positive experience from start to finish, and responding respectfully and with a genuine desire to help to guest complaints
- maintaining cleanliness standards and diligently completing side work as assigned
Full Time Servers on our team should have the goal of making every guest a regular. Our most successful associates form long- lasting professional relationships with our guests that set us apart from other restaurants in town. Prior experience is a plus, but not required. If you have never been a server before, you can prepare for your interview by thinking of experience you have that would translate to the skills of a great server and share that with us.
