Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, establishing a positive first impression.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is inviting.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments.
- Support retail sales goals through effective communication, upselling, and promoting special offers or new products.
- Manage inventory levels by assisting with stocking and inventory checks as needed.
- Ensure a clean, organized environment that adheres to safety and store policies.
- Willingness to assist in other departments is a must.
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in guiding team members or managing tasks independently.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, PEP or other PMS system, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are essential for engaging with guests confidently.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling, guest satisfaction, and customer engagement will help drive sales success.
