American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Special Procedures unit at a Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital, working 4x10-hour day shifts Thursday through Sunday.

Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital with 874 licensed beds, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center designation

Interventional Radiology - Special Studies unit averaging 25–30 patients per day

Patient population includes adults and pediatrics from the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses

Equipment includes 1 Siemens single-plane, 2 Siemens bi-plane, and 1 Canon bi-plane systems

EMR: Epic
-
4x10-hour day shifts, Thursday through Sunday, with no rotation between weekdays and weekends
-
On-call is required and rotated fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and travel staff

No floating required
-
Holiday coverage is expected unless time off is approved in advance

Minimum 1 year of IR/Special Procedures experience, with most recent experience within the last year

Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required

Active license required, if applicable

Proficiency in a fast-paced, high-acuity interventional radiology environment

Epic EMR experience

1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Department is led by a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager, with a diverse team ranging from newer to long-tenured staff

Orientation includes a facility and departmental tour with introductions, plus up to 5 days of departmental orientation (flexible based on traveler needs)
