Order Picking and Processing
- Read and interpret pick tickets and shipping labels to find correct item numbers and quantities.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picking and Processing Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and processing customer orders to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and heavy equipment operation will be vital in maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick orders using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and effectively.
- Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels, update records, and support inventory control.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely, labeling packages correctly, and verifying order completeness.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to maintain high standards of order fulfillment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including barcode scanning for logistics documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
- Support stock replenishment efforts by stocking shelves accurately and managing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling.
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is advantageous.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Strong understanding of barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety procedures and PPE use consistently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy.
