Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Commercial Installer to spearhead the installation of complex HVAC mechanical systems across commercial properties. As a Lead Commercial Installer, you will oversee installation teams, coordinate with clients and project managers, and ensure all work complies with industry regulations and safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation teams during commercial HVAC mechanical system projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install systems such as air conditioning units and other mechanical components.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance on HVAC design considerations and property maintenance needs.
- Utilize welding skills for fabrication or repair of ductwork as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including installation procedures, schematics updates, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- HVAC Journeyman license required
- Must have own tools
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a strong background in HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing equipment troubleshooting, welding techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Ohmmeters or other electrical testing tools for troubleshooting electrical components.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
