Department: Dirt Crew
Reports To: Foremen
Status: Non-Exempt
Responsibilities:
- Operate bulldozer, grader, excavator, skid steer, sheepsfoot
- Haul equipment to job site if available
- Keep record of vehicle inspections / safety equipment / placards (if applicable)
- Assist on job site if downtime permits
- Safely move dirt, rock and other construction related material
- Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections on equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, (ie. lubricating and fueling)
- Monitor GPS equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal down time
- Utilize hand tools when necessary
- Maintain worksite cleanliness
- Work in a professional manor
- Adhere to all safety standards
- Take direction from foreman
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of street/parking lot excavation
- Valid Class A CDL
- Ability to work 5-6 days a week, 8-12 hours a day
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Must be at least 18
