Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems to inform treatment planning.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate trauma-informed approaches like PTSD care and crisis intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards across electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Engage in case management activities including intake assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and discharge planning for patients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities.
- Facilitate community outreach initiatives and home visits to support clients in their natural environments, emphasizing culturally competent care from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation adhering to clinical confidentiality policies while supporting research efforts related to behavioral health outcomes.
Experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution; licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in mental health or behavioral health settings; hospital or clinical research experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, or applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, CPT coding procedures, ICD coding standards (ICD-10/ICD-9), and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
- Strong crisis management skills with the ability to handle psychiatric emergencies compassionately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of mental health assessments, psychiatric patient care protocols, and behavioral interventions tailored for diverse cultural backgrounds.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
