About Kindred Social
Kindred Social hosts ticketed singles mixers and social events for adults 45+ across the LA/South Bay, San Fernando Valley, and Ventura/Camarillo areas. Our events take place Friday and Saturday evenings at bars and social venues, creating a warm, low-pressure space for genuine connection.
About the Role
We're looking for outgoing, single men 50+ to join our team as Event Ambassadors. This is a great fit for someone who's social, comfortable striking up conversations, and genuinely enjoys being part of a singles community — not just attending, but helping host and energize the room.
What You'll Do
- Arrive early and help welcome guests as they check in
- Mix, mingle, and introduce attendees to one another to keep the energy warm and inclusive
- Help first-time attendees feel comfortable and included
- Represent Kindred Social positively — be approachable, friendly, and engaged all night
- Informally encourage other single men in your network to check out Kindred Social events
- Provide quick feedback to our team after each event (what worked, what didn't)
What We're Looking For
- Single man, age 45+
- Outgoing, warm, and genuinely social — a natural host
- Comfortable approaching new people and making introductions
- Reliable and punctual; able to commit to confirmed event dates in advance
- Based in or near the LA South Bay, San Fernando Valley, or Ventura/Camarillo area
- Available Friday and/or Saturday evenings
Compensation & Schedule
- $80 per event (paid as an independent contractor, 1099)
- Events typically run a few hours on Friday or Saturday evenings
- Flexible — accept the events that work with your schedule
