Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a cook. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where residents or guests receive delicious meals with excellent service. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals efficiently while maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices, storage procedures, and sanitation protocols
- Support dietary department operations by helping with food handling, portioning, and plating
- Contribute to catering events or special meal services as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Serve meals to residents or guests in a courteous and professional manner
Qualifications
- Experience working in dietary departments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking preferred but not required
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating strong food handling skills preferred but not required
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
