Pre-K 4 Classroom Aide
Saint Bridget School, a Catholic elementary school in Manchester, CT, has an opening for a Pre-K 4 Aide for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position requires a dynamic individual that can interact with and support the learning of Pre-K 4 students.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities would include supporting the Pre-K 4 teaching in creating an engaging learning environment that fosters academic and spiritual growth, develops Pre-K students’ developmental skills and a love of learning.
Additionally, the candidate must be able to:
- Implement lessons created by the classroom teacher that address Pre-K students’ spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

Use diverse instructional techniques such as modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing.

Encourage children to develop self-help skills and independence.

Support the Pre-K teacher with adapting curriculum to meet individual learning needs.

Promote positive behavior through redirection, positive reinforcement, and adherence to the school’s behavioral policies.

Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.

Assist students who may need additional support.
Minimum 2 years of successful assisting in early childhood settings.
High school degree required.
Demonstrated ability to lovingly engage young learners.
Strong understanding of early childhood developmental stages.

Practicing Catholic in good standing.
