We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC units using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify faults in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems and implement effective repairs.
- Maintain and repair plumbing components associated with HVAC systems to ensure proper water flow and drainage.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to perform repairs or installations efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling and environmental safety standards.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to support building automation systems and overall facility operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system issues, repair timelines, and maintenance needs.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, and parts used for each job.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair and installation.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration techniques, and plumbing systems.
- Experience working with building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems within commercial or residential settings.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and specialized HVAC testing devices.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus; relevant certifications such as EPA certification are required.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Valid driver’s license (including <PERSON> driver if applicable) with a clean driving record for field service assignments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Prior experience in property maintenance or appliance repair is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
