Job Title: Regional Quality Control (QC) Manager
Location: Virginia (Travel Required to Allentown, PA and surrounding sites)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Regional Quality Control Manager to support and oversee quality and food safety programs across multiple distribution center and kitchen operations. This role requires frequent travel between Virginia and Allentown, PA, conducting audits, inspections, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience in food safety, HACCP, and quality assurance programs, who can provide guidance, enforce policies, and drive continuous improvement across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support quality assurance and food safety programs across regional locations
- Conduct scheduled and unannounced audits, inspections, and peer reviews
- Ensure compliance with:
- SQF Audit Protocols
- HACCP and Food Safety standards
- FDA, USDA, and local regulatory requirements
- Supervise QA supervisors and quality control technicians at assigned locations
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies
- Implement and maintain programs including GMPs, sanitation, pest control, and environmental testing
- Oversee microbiological and environmental monitoring programs
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions
- Lead HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense teams
- Conduct mock recalls and follow up on corrective actions
- Manage non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and product disposition decisions
- Maintain vendor documentation and complete customer questionnaires
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Train, schedule, and evaluate team members
Qualifications:
- HACCP Certification (required)
- Food Defense Certification (required)
- SQF Practitioner certification (preferred)
- 2+ years of warehouse or quality supervision experience in the wholesale or food industry
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and audit processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Gold system preferred
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel regularly between Virginia and Allentown, PA
- Work in warehouse/distribution environments with varying temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Extended periods of sitting and computer work.
