Thanks for checking out our posting for Lice Technicians. Head lice removal service is in high demand in San Diego County. We have clinics in La Mesa and San Marcos and we travel to the homes of clients all over San Diego County
This work opportunity is part time. The frequency of calls varies from week to week, but there is always money to be made if you have availability. You MUST have reliable transportation as you will typically treat families in their home. The majority of the clients are middle and high income families.
You are required to be available at least 4 nights a week from 6pm to 10pm, at least 3 out of every 4 weeks. Having full availability beyond those times is good to get more daytime and evening appointments. For the right person this can be very lucrative, with very little stress or mental energy on your part.
Head lice is a great way to help people. You can take them from lice positive to lice negative in about an hour.
Compensation:
-Payment for diagnosis and treatment service rendered to each person. Plus product sales and tips.
-round trip Travel reimbursement to client homes in San Diego County
Required Qualifications:
- Must have good eyesight (in order to be able to find small nits in the hair)
- Must have current valid driver's license/proof of auto insurance/and reliable transportation.
Preferred Experience:
No lice treatment experience required. We teach you everything. Relevant experience could be in one of the following fields:
- Beauty/hair/spa industry (cosmetics, hairdresser, hair stylist, cosmetologist, barber)
- Healthcare (nurse, school nurse, HHA, CNA, phlebotomist, CNA, RN, CHHA, LPN, Homecare, Care Coordinator)
- With Children (Pre-school, Childcare, Baby Sitter)
- Full-Time Domestic Specialist (stay at home parent, home school, housekeeper)
- Part-Time Gig-Based Jobs: Delivery Driver, Taxi Driver, Local Route Driver, Uber, Lyft, etc.
This work requires pleasant, articulate, confident problem solvers, who enjoy helping people when they are in need. You will work with families (kids and adults) who are stressed. They will be looking to you as a professional to help with this problem. We have a treatment protocol to share with you that we know to be successful, and we are always working to improve so we are always open to feedback from technicians. Client satisfaction is top priority.
The work is great for a homemaker re-entering the workforce, those with a self-paced, flexible schedule and anyone who has an interest in the healthcare or hair industry. - What days and times would you like to work? We serve clients all day every day and you set your own schedule. Please give specific availability - like Monday from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday 4pm to 10pm, whatever is your desired work times. It can change from week to week. Just helpful to get an idea.
- Do you fluently speak any other language in addition to English? Ok if you don't.
- Do you have a car to drive to the homes of the clients? This is required.
