Internal Medicine Associates of Auburn (IMAA) is a well-established independent primary care group practice seeking a highly motivated, energetic team player to work as a Phlebotomist under the direction of our Laboratory Manager.
Job duties for this position will be to collect and register patient laboratory specimens using standard collection protocols. Perform safe venipuncture, handling of other specimens, such as throat cultures, urine, and stool, following all procedural protocols, as well as infection control and safety protocols. Assist to maintains cleanliness and neatness of the laboratory at all times.
Great communication skills are a must for this position as you will be expected to interact with patients in a friendly and caring way. Must be able to exercise excellent judgment, problem-solving and customer service skills. Must be flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The laboratory team is essential to our patient care; you will be a part of a team that provides accurate, convenient and efficient laboratory services to our patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
