Pay: $20–$24/hr | Part-time | 8–20 hrs/week
ABOUT THE ROLE
MODERNBEAST and Biscuit Bar are looking for a part-time Front of House + Retail Associate to join our Jackson Hole team.
This is a shared role across two neighboring brands: MODERNBEAST, a curated pet lifestyle brand, and Biscuit Bar, a dog treatery + cafe. You’ll be scheduled and trained to work between both businesses, creating a warm, elevated, and welcoming experience for customers and their dogs.
This role is primarily front of house and customer-facing, with a strong focus on retail sales, hospitality, product knowledge, and creating an exceptional experience from the moment someone walks through the door.
We’re looking for someone who is outgoing, people-oriented, confident, and genuinely enjoys connecting with customers. Sales experience is important, as this role involves actively helping customers discover products, making thoughtful recommendations, and contributing to sales across both businesses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, service-forward experience
- Work scheduled shifts between MODERNBEAST and Biscuit Bar
- Learn and confidently speak to the products, brands, and stories behind both businesses
- Assist customers with product selection and make thoughtful recommendations
- Drive retail sales through personalized service, upselling, and product knowledge
- Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently, including Shopify and Toast
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing front-of-house environment
- Restock retail products, café supplies, and other front-of-house items as needed
- Support merchandising and maintain the elevated presentation of both spaces
- Create a welcoming experience for both customers and their pets
- Assist with basic café service and front-of-house tasks at Biscuit Bar
- Answer customer questions in person, by phone, and as needed via email
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Work collaboratively with the team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Follow all company, food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year of previous sales or retail experience required
- Customer service, hospitality, café, or specialty retail experience preferred
- Outgoing, personable, and naturally comfortable engaging with people
- People-oriented with a genuine interest in creating connections and memorable customer experiences
- Confident recommending products and comfortable asking for the sale
- Strong communication skills and a warm, positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Able to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Comfortable learning and using POS systems and technology
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- Passion for dogs, pets, design, and elevated retail
- Able to learn and represent two distinct but complementary brands
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to stand and remain active throughout shifts
WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll be trained across both MODERNBEAST and Biscuit Bar and scheduled at both locations based on business needs and your availability. While the businesses have different offerings, the focus of this role is the same: great people, great service, and a thoughtful customer experience.
