We're looking for a dependable, detail-obsessed Baby Gear Operations Lead to own daily gear preparation at our Pacific Beach warehouse, Monday through Friday mornings.
What You'll Do
- Prep outgoing orders for delivery with precision: pull gear, stage it, and scan every item into our inventory system (Booqable) so orders go out complete and correct
- Prep orders 2–3 days ahead and handle same-day/last-minute orders as they come in
- Double-check every order against its packing list before it leaves the shelf: accuracy is the whole job
- Assign barcoded items to specific orders and keep inventory records current
- Flag shortages early: if an item an upcoming order needs is dirty, missing, or broken, you raise it the same day, not the morning of delivery
- Handle laundry for returned sheets and towels (cleaned, sanitized, ready for the next rental)
- Help work down the returned-gear cleaning pile when prep is done. Every clean item gets logged and scanned back to the shelf
- Keep your stations and the warehouse clean and organized
- Support light inventory tasks: return audits, barcoding new items, updating our "last seen" tracking
- Use Connecteam (scheduling/time clock), Booqable (inventory), and a barcode scanner daily
What We're Looking For
- Extremely detail-oriented, you catch the missing item before the driver leaves, not after the customer calls
- Reliable, you show up on time, clock in and out in real time, and scan what you touch. Our whole operation depends on accurate scans; this is non-negotiable
- Highly organized and self-directed, you'll run your mornings without someone standing over you
- A team player, you coordinate daily with drivers and our admin team
- Comfortable standing most of your shift and lifting up to 50 lbs (strollers, wagons, cribs)
- Preferred: warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, or logistics experience; familiarity with baby gear is a big plus
Schedule & Structure
- Monday–Friday, mornings (approx. 8:00 AM start, 4–5 hours/day, ~20–25 hours/week)
- Fixed schedule once set. Our drivers and customers depend on morning prep being done on time
- No weekends required
Compensation & Perks
- $22-24/hour based on experience
