Job Title: Rope Access Technician, IRATA
Location: Offshore, Gulf of Mexico
We are accepting résumés for Candidates with Offshore Rope Access experience to work on various projects in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities and Duties
- Support Operations by working with engineers for various offshore facilities in the Gulf of Mexico
- Address technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities in the field.
- Inspect, maintain, and properly care for all rope access equipment, reporting any damaged or unserviceable equipment
- Maintain climbing logbook per IRATA guidelines.
- Prepare Reports and precisely document data in a timely fashion.
Perform various duties while on ropes such as:
- Inspect NACE coatings and report findings to customer representative.
- Inspection, removal, and reinstallation of various types of pipe insulation.
- Perform nondestructive examinations at various facilities under the direction of a Team Leader or independently.
- Complete Mechanical or electrical tasks to safely remove or install equipment or devices.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years Rope Access field experience with IRATA certification
- Experience in a Supervisory role is a plus
- Current IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification (or be willing to convert from SPRAT)
