Title: Intervention Specialist
Reports To: Building Principal or designee
Terms of Employment: Salary and work year as established by the Board of Education and in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
Job Goal / Purpose
The Intervention Specialist provides specially designed instruction and support to students with disabilities in alignment with state standards and each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). This role ensures equitable access to high-quality instruction through inclusive practices, collaboration with general education staff, implementation of positive behavior supports, and data-informed decision making to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue.
