Hope Springs Christian School is a non-profit, Christian micro-school dedicated to helping children with learning differences. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to empower each child to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives by developing their God-given abilities.
Hope Springs is founded on the work of NILD – National Institute for Learning Development. We place heavy emphasis on incorporating NILD therapies into the classroom as well as providing individual therapy sessions. Through these techniques, our curriculum grows students to be independent learners. Hope Springs is specifically designed to meet the needs of children who are experiencing failure in the traditional classroom, have been diagnosed as being either slow learners or having a specific learning disability, and/or need a period of academic success and intensive training.
Key factors that make it possible for Hope Springs to provide this optimum learning experience include:
· Small classes of ability-grouped children (average class is a 6-1 student/teacher ratio)
· One-to-one educational therapy following the NILD program
· NILD techniques and executive functioning skills integrated daily in the classroom
