Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support diverse learning needs.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive development, motor skills, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support child welfare and communicate progress effectively.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, literacy education, and other innovative teaching techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to plan lessons effectively and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- CDA or training in early childhood education or related fields.
