Duties
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including unloading materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling structures
- Support concrete work through mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as per project specifications
- Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprints and schematics for structural support
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprint specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Support framing, formwork construction, masonry, roofing, stucco application, and other trades as needed
- Use heavy equipment such as concrete pumps or mixers under supervision while following safety regulations
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site
- Assist with restoration or renovation projects by supporting carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, flooring installation, and plastering
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing comprehension is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate basic heavy equipment safely is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, cutting, or pouring enhances your suitability for this role
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating heavy machinery is advantageous but not mandatory
