We are hiring a House Manager for our Level 6 Adult Residential Facility, which serves individuals with I/DD and behavioral needs.
About the Home:
Our home serves up to four adult residents (ages 18–59) who may be:
- Diagnosed with intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and/or autism, and are eligible for Regional Center Level 6 services.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall daily operation of the facility and the overall quality of daily program implementation, and facility management.
- Responsible for assuring the care and supervision of residents in any emergency by utilizing appropriate emergency measures.
- Provides supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) to ensure the welfare of the residents.
- Responsible for facilitating the implementation of the program plans developed by the Administrator, including the coordination of daily activities.
- Support residents with daily living activities, personal care, and community integration
- Implement Individualized Support Plans (ISPs) under clinical supervision
- Maintain compliance with Title 22 and Regional Center requirements
- Document daily activities, behavior data, and progress accurately
- Model positive communication and reinforce independence and dignity
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 12 months of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- 21 years of age or older with a valid California driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possess a current ARF Administrator certificate issued by the California Department of Social Services. Must complete an initial thirty-five (35) hour ARF Administrator certification course, and forty (40) hours of approved Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) every two (2) years to maintain their ARF Administrator certification, as required by Title 22.
- First Aid & CPR certification completed prior to employment
- Completion of Direct Support Professional (DSP) Training Part I
- Must pass a health screening and TB test verifying fitness for duties
- Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprint clearance prior to employment
- Commitment to 12 hours of continuing education annually
- Must be physically able to assist residents as needed, including occasional lifting or repositioning, and to respond quickly in emergency situations.
