Are you wanting to work out doors in a fun "job" that can allow you to pick up 3-5 days weekly the rest of summer to work at the beach!
We have flexible 5 hour shifts in the mornings and afternoons to have a good time stoking people out in the ocean. This job helps you gain teaching experience and management experience of people with easy advancement in pay? Our style is great customer service for our physically fun job all while getting paid. We have a variety of additional skills to add hours weekly either managerial jobs , side lessons, and/ or gear repair to maximize seasonal earning opportunities of picking up hours :)
Are you passionate about the ocean and eager to share your love for surfing with others? As a Surfing Instructor, you will inspire and guide individuals of all ages and skill levels to develop their surfing abilities while ensuring their safety and enjoyment. This dynamic role combines teaching, coaching, and safety management to create memorable, empowering experiences on the water. Responsibilities
- Lead engaging surfing lessons tailored to students’ ages, experience levels, and learning goals
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing proper surfing techniques and water safety protocols
- Provide clear instructions on paddling, balancing, wave selection, and maneuvering techniques
- Monitor weather conditions, tide schedules, and surf hazards to maintain a safe learning environment
- Get paid to workout with a physical job of having fun at the beach!
- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment among students
- Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and storage to ensure optimal safety standards
- Support participants’ progress by offering constructive feedback and personalized coaching tip
- Qualifications
- Proven surfing experience or certification demonstrating water safety expertise
- Strong desire in sports coaching or physical education instruction
- Gain experience teaching or working with children and adolescents in active settings
- Competency in swimming and familiarity with ocean environments is advantageous
- Excellent behavior management skills to motivate diverse learners of all ages
- Prior experience in childcare or working with students in recreational or educational programs is desired
- CPR/FA required but classes are offered on hire.
