Superstar Trailers is hiring an experienced salesperson for our Kaufman location.
This is not an entry-level sales position. We are looking for someone who already understands the trailer, RV, powersports, automotive, equipment, or similar sales industry and knows how to actively go find business—not just wait for customers to walk through the door.
What We're Looking For
The right person should be experienced in:
- Trailer, RV, automotive, powersports, equipment, or similar sales
- Facebook Marketplace and online selling
- Prospecting and generating your own leads
- Following up with internet leads by phone and text
- Working old leads and unsold customers
- Posting and maintaining Marketplace listings
- Using social media to generate business
- Building relationships with contractors, businesses, landscapers, hotshot drivers, food-truck operators, and other commercial customers
- Asking for the sale and closing deals
- Following a structured sales process
- Working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
This Position Is NOT for Someone Who:
- Wants to sit at a desk and wait for walk-in customers
- Is uncomfortable making outbound calls
- Doesn't know how to prospect
- Doesn't follow up
- Is afraid to use Facebook Marketplace or social media
- Needs to be constantly reminded what to do next
We provide inventory, leads, financing options, marketing, and a strong brand. We need a salesperson who knows how to turn those tools into sales.
What You'll Sell
Superstar Trailers carries a wide variety of products, including:
- Cargo trailers
- Dump trailers
- Equipment trailers
- Utility trailers
- Food/concession trailers
- Specialty trailers
- Truck beds
- Trailer parts, accessories, and upgrades
This gives you multiple opportunities to sell to both retail and commercial customers.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for working incoming leads, prospecting new customers, maintaining Marketplace listings, following up with previous customers and unsold leads, creating your own opportunities, presenting financing options, closing sales, and maintaining communication with customers throughout the sales process.
We expect our salespeople to prospect every day.
