Weekend Direct Care Worker (Male Caregiver)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Care Worker to provide support for clients with high behavioral needs and mental health diagnoses in our Bloomfield home.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care and supervision.

Assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

Implement behavior support strategies and maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Complete required documentation and follow individualized care plans.

Requirements
- Experience supporting clients with high behavioral needs and mental health conditions.
Flexible and reliable with weekend availability.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a criminal background screening.

Current CPR & First Aid certification.

Updated TB screening and medical clearance.

- Must complete all required CMH certifications within 30 days of hire.
Desired Experience
- Previous experience in direct care, behavioral health, group homes, assisted living, or developmental disabilities preferred.
