Supply Chain
The Bell Procurement organization is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Support Professional to provide onsite support for the Drives System Center (Grand Prairie) and the Repair and Overhaul Center (Fort Worth). Additionally, the Specialist will provide secondary support to the Rotors and Advanced Composites centers located in Fort Worth, TX. This position will provide analytical support to forecast material availability based on operation scheduling, and act as a true partner to the Centers to ensure a seamless supply chain for production.
What you’ll be doing as a SC Ops Support Prof
- Intermediary between procurement and the operations center to forecast material requirements for 30/60/90 day intervals.
- Perform data collection and analysis of current inventory of parts compared to material requirements.
- Ensures that the suppliers are aware of a possible requirements gaps and are working to prevent such gaps.
- In this role you will also provide current and future spend analysis and keep manufacturing aware of all procurement shortages for one or more of Bell's plants.
- Proactively seeks solutions / uses strong problem solving to reduce/eliminate material outages
- Builds productive relationships with internal customers and external customers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 experience in Supply Chain contracts, Procurement or Supply Chain Analytics. Preferably in in manufacturing/operations procurement
- Strong analytical skills demonstrating the ability to forecast demand planning manufacturing needs / projections of shortages / outages
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Ability to deal with ambiguous problems autonomously
- Demonstrated experience in partnering cross functionally to complete a task/project timely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated SAP navigation experience preferred
- Continuous Improvement Certification preferred
