Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Stay current with the latest diagnostic techniques and service methods for vehicles sold and serviced by the dealership
- Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards
- Follow factory guidelines and dealership protocols when completing warranty work
- Participate in in-house and manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- Remain up to date with technical bulletins, service manuals, and other industry publications
- Accurately document causes of failure and work performed on repair orders
- Collaborate closely with the service manager, team leader, and service consultants to review diagnostic results and repair plans
- Request necessary parts from the parts department in a timely manner
- Adhere to all safety procedures to minimize exposure to hazardous materials, fumes, and chemicals

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic automotive repair knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and documentation
- Must have a valid driver’s license and at least three years of licensed driving experience
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Excellent judgment and attention to detail
- Prior vocational training or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical repair
- Commitment to customer service and teamwork
Compensation & Benefits:
- The Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $33.00 and $40.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
