We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, creating a safe and engaging environment for their development. This role involves caring for children of various ages and requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for implementing educational activities, managing behavior, and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and positive environment.
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Skills
- Experience working with children in various settings (classroom, babysitting, preschool).
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment.
- Experience in providing care for infants and young children.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both children.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
