Overview
We are looking for an energetic and bilingual Retail Store Manager to lead our Cricket Wireless store. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a diverse team, and ensure outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive sales, optimize store performance, and foster a positive shopping environment for all customers.
Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent customer service
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and merchandising to maximize sales and ensure product availability
- Oversee retail sales activities, including cashiering, POS transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients
- Conduct employee orientation, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated and skilled team
- Handle scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to maintain smooth store operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail sales or wireless industry with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency required)
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, customer service, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math principles
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and employee orientation
- Ability to manage budgets, perform retail bookkeeping tasks, and handle cash accurately
- Skilled in merchandising, marketing initiatives, and store presentation strategies
- Organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred; familiarity with wireless sales is a plus
