We are seeking an energetic and attentive Beverage Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to guests while expertly serving a variety of beverages. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, highlighting beverage options and specials to enhance their experience
- Take accurate orders for drinks and food, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient processing
- Serve beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items and beverage selections to maximize sales opportunities and increase guest satisfaction
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bussing tables, cleaning glassware, and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements for optimal guest flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service and guest needs are met efficiently
- Assist with food preparation or food safety procedures as needed, especially during busy periods in fine dining or nightclub settings
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality roles with a focus on guest relations
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously in a lively setting
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for supporting food service when needed
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced environments like fine dining establishments or nightclubs
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Effective communication skills to engage guests positively and coordinate with team members seamlessly

Pay: From $5.00 per hour
Experience:
- Must be TIPS certified : 1 year (Preferred)
