Job Summary: Diaz Construction is looking for a skilled and dependable Machine Operator with a valid 2A-1C license to join our team. This role involves operating heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders to support daily operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
● Operate heavy equipment including excavators and loaders safely and efficiently
● Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections
● Execute digging, grading, loading, and material handling tasks
● Follow project specifications and site plans
● Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
● Work closely with team members and site supervisors to meet project goals
● Maintain a clean and safe work environment
● Adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations Qualifications:
● Valid 2A-1C license required
● Proven experience operating excavators and loaders
● Strong understanding of heavy equipment safety practices
● Ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions
● Physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
