Blueridge Axecade is an arcade that has axe throwing and a bar in Harrisonburg, VA. We are seeking an outgoing, energetic candidate who is from Harrisonburg or the surrounding areas for an Assistant Manager position. We have options available for part-time or full-time!

- Must be 21+
Duties:
- Using a POS system to check-in axe throwing customers, sell game cards, and redeem prizes.
- Provide a brief period of axe throwing instruction prior to the start of a session.
- Responsible for coaching axe groups on safety protocol & creating an entertaining environment for the customer
- Maintain company safety standards for axe throwing groups
- Responsible for general up-keep of arcade area: cleaning, restocking, basic arcade maintenance
- Responsible for up-keep of the axe throwing lanes: changing target boards, ensuring axes are in good condition, etc.
- Responsible for prepping & preparing food orders as they come in.
- Serve alcoholic beverages while following all Virginia ABC regulations and company standards.
- Assist the Managers in creating the schedule for Staff Members
- Respond professionally to emails and correspondence
- Respond to event leads for birthday parties, corporate parties, team building events, and others.
- Collect and prepare cash deposits
- Lead our team to provide excellent service to customers and ensure company procedures are completed
