Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life. You will work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and home community care environments, providing tailored therapy programs to meet individual patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in acute care settings or outpatient clinics is preferred.
- Familiarity with various physical therapy systems and techniques.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
