Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools.
- Conduct plumbing repairs including leak fixes, pipe replacements, and system maintenance to uphold safety standards.
- Handle carpentry tasks such as maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and furniture fixes to maintain the hotel’s aesthetic appeal.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems and oversee facilities equipment maintenance to improve efficiency.
- Ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to guests and staff.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, schematics, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures to support ongoing facilities management.
- Support cleaning crews by performing general housekeeping duties related to facility upkeep when needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building repair roles within hospitality or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing system maintenance, HVAC system repair, and carpentry.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical equipment repair techniques.
- Experience with maintenance painting and residential painting tasks to enhance interior aesthetics.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments confidently.
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for coordinating team efforts effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interaction.
- Knowledge of facilities equipment maintenance standards aligned with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices is highly desirable.
