- Meet or exceed company performance standards for quality and speed of service to our customers.
- Conduct vehicle inspections for mechanical services. Detect and note any conditions that would affect the safe operation of the vehicle and bring them to the attention of the service manager or store manager.
- Routinely inspects, maintains and makes necessary repairs and/or adjustments to machinery necessary for an efficient and safe work environment.
- Performs ride complaint diagnostics.
- Assumes a high level of responsibility for meeting all OSHA requirements.
- Assists in the installation, balancing and repair of tires as needed.
- Perform a road test to ensure that the work has been completed properly.
- Follow all safety practices as outlined in policy and procedures.
As a Service Technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest customer service practices and be a persistent problem solver.
- Experience in installation, balancing and repair of tires. Candidates with no automotive experience need not apply.
- Possession of valid, current driver's license.
- Possession of a complete set of mechanical hand tools, including metric sizes.
- Strong customer service skills and a high level of professional integrity.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including Saturdays.
- Be able to stand on concrete or metal surfaces for extended periods of time
- Be able to work in an environment that frequently experiences extreme hot and cold temperatures, loud noises and exhaust fumes.
- Be able to lift and move inventory items, trashcans and other work-related items (up to 50 lbs.)
- Be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours).
- Be able to push, pull, pull-up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head / neck / shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands -- all for extended periods of time or many times throughout the work shift.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
