You’ll collaborate with dedicated teams to deliver direct therapeutic services and provide essential support across a diverse, itinerant caseload.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current New Mexico OT license required prior to the assignment start date
- Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in conducting direct OT services, evaluations, and report writing
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule across multiple campus locations as needed
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families
- Comfortable working independently while also participating in multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and district guidelines
- Complete thorough assessments and maintain comprehensive, timely documentation
- Write clear, detailed evaluation and progress reports for school and legal compliance
- Travel between campus locations within the district, providing services where needed
- Consult with teachers and staff to recommend supports, strategies, and modifications
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning for student success
This is a fully on-site role that prioritizes high-impact, hands-on therapy—virtual or remote work is not available for this assignment.
