Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Care for floors using appropriate techniques such as carpet cleaning or floor polishing to preserve their appearance and safety
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workspace
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning equipment, and general janitorial practices is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality environments demonstrates an understanding of guest service standards and operational procedures
