We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vinyl Wrap Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality vinyl wraps to a variety of vehicles, ensuring flawless finishes and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces through thorough cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion of vinyl wraps.
- Measure, cut, and apply vinyl wraps accurately, utilizing hand tools and power tools for precise installation.
- Use automotive buffing, polishing, and auto body repair techniques to achieve smooth, seamless finishes.
- Operate spray guns for painting or coating applications when necessary, ensuring proper surface coating and finishing.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, auto glass replacement, and detailing to support overall vehicle presentation.
- Utilize welding and mechanical knowledge for minor repairs or modifications required during the wrapping process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection when handling paints or adhesives.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding project progress and provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership auto body repair, auto restoration, or automotive surface preparation is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding, sanding, grinding, and the use of hand tools and power tools for automotive applications.
- Familiarity with automotive buffing, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing techniques.
- Experience with surface preparation masking, sanding, spray guns (conventional or airless), and automotive coating application.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and auto estimating processes.
- Knowledge of automotive paints, primers, adhesives, and respiratory protection practices for safe handling of materials.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
