Manpower is seeking skilled and experienced CNC Operators for ALL SHIFTS to join a Dynamic Manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL. This is a great opportunity with plenty of room for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ability to run production machines, primarily 4-axis CNCs to either apply machined cut grooves (primarily concentric with focus on width, pitch and depth) into the top of nominal 30'' diameter discs, or to surface (achieve overall thickness targets)
- Use of hand tools
- Ability to sit/stand to manually inspect and clean finished plastic disc parts using hand tools.
- Trouble shoot related quality and operational issues
- Obtain inspection approval upon set-up completion prior to production run.
- Use calibrated precision measuring instruments and blueprints.
- Make minor repairs as needed.
- Perform necessary preventative maintenance on machines as required.
- Perform necessary recordkeeping and paperwork.
- Use various testing devices, chemicals and material moving equipment according to appropriate guidelines and procedures.
- Follow all safety rules and keep work area clean and in an orderly condition.
- Wear all personal protective equipment as required by the safety policy.
- Be responsible and accountable for the professional use of assigned work periods, machinery, equipment and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
