POSITION: Part-time Economics Instructor
LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND (online)

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, non-benefitted.
BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.
JOB SUMMARY: Opportunity to instruct 6-9 credits per semester (fall, spring, and summer) of ECON 201: Principles of Microeconomics and ECON 202: Principles of Macroeconomics . Preference given to an applicant that could instruct both the online and on-campus sections of this course.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Economics or closely related field, or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in Economics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups
Experience working within an online learning environment
Highly-motivated and self-directed
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to teach both online and on-campus sections of ECON 201 and 202.
Documented successful teaching skills
Experience with Microsoft Suite and Blackboard Learning Management System
Experience with the North Dakota University System
Experience with instruction for dual credit/early entry students
