Duties
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
- Assist with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies, cleaning workstations, and ensuring efficient workflow
- Clear tables, reset dining areas quickly, and manage waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest requests
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining a positive attitude and engaging with guests
Skills
- Previous 2 yrs experience in food service, restaurant work, catering or hospitality environments preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, bussing techniques, and food handling safety protocols
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or hotel service standards is a plus
- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to customer service
- Basic understanding of food industry terminology and service etiquette
